Compatibility of Thule 59504 on a 2010 Toyota 4Runner w/Factory Crossbars

Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs, Item # TH859XT Im wondering if I can purchase this Rola Roof Cargo Basket and clamp this to my 2 factory black bars that run from the driver side to the passenger side that spread from the original chrome roof rails. The cross bars I have on my 2010 4runner SR5 right now are aftermarket.

Good news, I can help you figure out if this Rola Roof Basket # TH859XT will fit on your 4Runners roof crossbars.
We just need to take once measurement to see if they will work together. Measure the distance from the center of the front crossbar to the center of the back crossbar. If they are between 20 inches and 37 inches apart, they the Thule Canyon XT roof basket # TH859XT will be a great fit for you.
It is also important to note that your roof crossbars have a capacity of 132lbs, and the Thule Basket has a capacity of 150lbs. You are ultimately limited by the lowest rated capacity which may be your 4Runners roof. I recommend consulting your owners manual to see if there are any restrictions. You will find the lowest limit then subtract the 19 pounds of the roof basket to see how much cargo you can carry.
