Expert Reply:
To install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 24795, on your 2010 Hyundai Elantra, you will not have to remove or replace the bumper. There is some minor fascia trimming required. A tab on the bottom center of the fascia will need to be trimmed in order for the hitch to fit properly. I have included a link to the installation instructions that include an illustration of where this trimming will occur. I have also included an installation video on a similar vehicle.
If you plan on towing with this hitch, I recommend adding a drawbar, hitch ball, and wiring to complete your towing set up. The recommended drawbar is # 3594. which can be used with hitch ball # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For wiring, use T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118433. I have included a link to the installation details and a video installation on a similar vehicle.
