Recommendation for a Handle Locking Pin on the Reese Titan 20k Sliding Hitch
Question:
Im looking for a locking pin to replace the screw/nut assembly that came with the hitch. Can you recommend one that would be suitable? I can only find a 1/4inch spring pin and the diameter is too large for the holes in the locking handle. I'm looking for a pin to use when the king pin is locked in, and the handle is in the down position. The pin prevents the handle from opening, and potential becoming unhitched.

Good news, I was able to find 3 pins that will work for you.
The Torklift Turnbuckle Pin Lock # TL11001, Roadmaster Coupler Padlock # RM-305, and the Husky Safety Lock Pin # 37201211 were the three pins I found that will fit through the hole in the handle.
I tested all of these options and would recommend the # TL11001 because it was the easiest to insert and remove and is a locking pin. Alternatively, the Roadmaster Padlock was very tight and the Husky fit just fine but doesn't have a lock like you requested.
I've linked all the parts for your convenience.
