Trailer Rim and Tire to Use with Timbren Axle-Less System part # ASR400S01

Question:

I am using #ASR400S01 to build a small canoe trailer towed behind 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid. I am using the OEM car wheels on the trailer because the car does not have provisions to carry any spare due to the hybrid battery. I need to find the correct hub to use. I assume #8-258-5UC1-EZ is correct but need to confirm a the wheel pilot diameter. Needs to be 2 1/2 b wheel stud model # or diameter of hole in flange at stud location. Studs will need to be changed to M12 x1.5. c clearance from wheel mounting face to ASR400S01 suspension. If less than 6 3/4wheel mounting face to mounted tire sidewall , will need dimension to choose wheel spacer thickness and length of wheel studs. Wheels are size 7Jx17 ET55 which means they are 17 inch diameter, 7 inch wide with a 55mm positive offset. They have a 64.1mm center bore and require radiusedball seat lugnuts. As far as I know, radiusedball seat lugnuts are only available with metric threads. If you know otherwise, please suggest an alternative.

I can't recommend you use vehicle wheels and tires on a trailer no matter how small the trailer is. The hub you referenced part # 8-258-5UC1-EZ will fit but you will need to go with a trailer rim and tire like the part # AM10235 paired with a wheel that has a matching bolt pattern or any of the other tire and rims that are available at the attached link.

Vehicle wheels aren't rated for the vertical load that trailers often see and use different offsets that trailer normally use. Trailers often use 0 offset wheels since it splits the load of the trailer on either side of the rim.
