Good news, I can help you find what you need for your 2016 Ram 2500.

The Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter # RP30154 will allow you to mount a sliding hitch.

It is important to note that this setup may still not give you the turning clearance you are looking for and you could instead go with a fixed hitch like # PS30121 and a Sidewinder, like the one that fits a Lippert 1621 box # RP34FR and has a weight rating of 20K, to accommodate that need. Sidewinders are designed to replace specific brands and model number pin boxes, so we would need to know that brand and model number of the pin box on your trailer to recommend the correct sidewinder for your setup.
