Grease Compatibility for Trailer Wheel Bearings
Question:
I have a 4x8 tilt Hualing Ass trailer and a bought these bearing buddys to put on it so I dont have to repack them. My question is what is your best guess on what kind of grease I should use. I had heard that some kinds dont mix well together. As far as I know it still should have the factory grease in them. Is there a kind of grease that mixes well with others and is also good of wheel bearings?

You are correct about greases; some do not work well with others. Out of the greases that we carry the type with the most compatibility is red grease # L11390. It is compatible with the following grease types:
Aluminum Complex
Calcium Stearate
Calcium 12-Hydroxystearate
Calcium Complex
Calcium Sulfonate Complex
Lithium Stearate
Lithium 12-Hydroxystearate
Polyurea (LUB-LM Type) (This would be the most compatible but we do not carry this type)
Ideally you would completely remove all the grease from the hubs and bearings before adding new grease to ensure that there are no problems. If you need a grease gun you can use # L30416. I have included a link to our help article on grease for you.
