How to Gain Clearance to Access Bolts to Install Curt Trailer Hitch on 2008 Acura MDX

In order to have enough working room to install the Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch # 13354 on your 2008 Acura MDX, the exhaust and spare tire must be temporarily lowered. The heat shields will also need to be removed for installation, but can be reinstalled once the hitch is installed.
To gain access to the holes closest to the bumper you may need an extension or a crow's foot to reach between the hitch and bumper. In the installation video it looks like our installer used an extension.
