Yes, the Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror (Each), item # 7070, should work just fine on the factory mirrors on your 2004 Ford Explorer XLT.
We also have the CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror, item # 11650, that works very well on most vehicles.
