How Does Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Install on a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover Sport

Does the Rhino Rack RSPT508 connect directly to pre-existing mount holes on roof? Do the bolts that come with the kit fit the threads in the manufacturer holes that already exist in the roof? Is all necessary hardware included? Is this gear comparable to OEM roof rack?

Yes, the Rhino-Rack roof rack # RSPT508 will install in factory holes already on the roof of your 2006 Land Rover Range Rover Sport.
The plastic molding that runs down the tracks on either side of the roof is removed, and then trimmed. The roof rack tracks are installed into existing hardware, and the plastic roof molding will install around the tracks once it is trimmed. Purchase of the rack does indeed include the hardware you will need for installation.
This roof rack is going to be similar to the factory rack except that it is likely less expensive and could have a higher weight rating than the factory rack. The Rhino-Rack system is rated for 165 pounds but consult the vehicle owner's manual and/or Land Rover for the roof capacity and go by the lowest rating.
