Hitch Recommendation for a 2008 Inifiniti G37
Question:
Hello, I read that you will need to trim off the bumper fascia in order to fit the hitch on the G37 Coupe/Vert. However, there is a guy on YouTube that has a curt #11499 hitch and he said trimming wasn't required. I would like a clean look without trimming the Fascia. Also, I noticed that your recommendation is the C11493. I know the difference is in the weight capacity, but is the design different? is this an upgrade to the #11068? Again the goal here is to not trim the fascia. I was wondering if I should go with the #11068 since this guy did it without trimming the fascia. I plan on towing my 4x8 utility trailer and my motorcycle to the track.

The Curt # C11499 that you referenced is designed to fit newer versions of the Infiniti G37 so I cannot recommend it for your 2008 model. If for example you have a 2010 G37 this hitch would fit.
The only hitch that we have that in confirmed to fit your vehicle is the Curt # C11493 that has been confirmed as a fit as long as you have a coupe. The fit info for the hitch also states that trimming of the fascia will be required.
For a ball mount you would then want the part # C45521, for a 2 inch hitch ball part # A-82 and for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball # A-80.
For trailer wiring you would need to go through an Infiniti dealer.
