Differenced Between Stromberg 3500 Series and 4000 Series Tailgates for GM Trucks

Can you please tell me difference between the following products: StrongbergandCarlson # VGM99-3500 Tailgate # VGM99-4000 Thank you for your trouble.

The Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate with Lock # VGM-99-4000 replaced the Stromberg Carlson 3500 Series Tailgate VGM-99-3500. Stromberg has discontinued the 3500 series tailgate. The 4000 series is a bit lighter than the 3500, and has a 2 year limited warranty over the 3500's 1 year. Both tailgates were designed to fit GM trucks, and the 4000 is confirmed to fit your 2006 GMC Sierra.

Yes, if you wanted to turn the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack #JET-3755 so that the housing was at an angle to give you more tailgate clearance you certainly could.
