Will Curt Q16 Fit Previously Installed Reese Rails in 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 HD
Question:
I have Reese rails already installed on my 2005 GMC 2500hd for my previous hitch. Im wondering if I will be able to just drop the Curt Q16 slider hitch right on to these rails, or will I have to redrill/move the rails due to spacing differences. Thanks!

The Curt Q16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16521 is designed to fit industry standard above-bed rails. As long as the Reese base rails installed on your truck are industry standard rails, such as part # RP50064-58 or # RP56007-53, you will be able to use your existing Reese rails with the Curt Q16 # C16521.
If you are unsure if the Reese rails in your truck are industry standard, you can take a couple of measurements. I have attached a photo showing the measurements of industry standard rails for you to compare the measurements to those of the Reese rails already installed on your truck.
