Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
I have a 2014 Subaru Outback and am planning to install a hitch. Seems that you sell several brands. I want the 2inch opening. My biggest concern with any aftermarket hitch is the distance from the bottom of the hitch to the ground. Wondering if you can help by telling me this distance on the brands/models that you sell. This will help me in deciding which one to purchase. Thanks. Al Scott

I have a solution for your hitch clearance needs on your 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon. I've found that the Draw-Tite # 75673 brand will give you the most clearance with a measurement of 16 inches from the ground to the inside top edge of the receiver. The Curt brand # C13206 will give you a ground clearance of 15 inches from the ground to the inside top edge of the receiver.
I would recommend the Draw-Tite brands for your needs.
I have linked our page with the hitches that fit your specific vehicle with the 2 inch requirement you requested for you convenience. I have also linked the install videos for both hitches I've recommended.
