Trailer Hitch and 4-Bike Carrier Recommendations for a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium
Question:
Hello! I would like to buy a trailer hitch for my Ford Escape Titanium 2014 with Hands-free Liftgate sensor. In the website I saw several different options so I dont know which one is going to be the best choice. Could you please advice which model will be the best option for my Escape? Main purpose for the trailer hitch is to install a four bike rack. Thank you.

For your 2014 Ford Escape Titanium there are both Class II and Class III trailer hitches. The difference is that a Class III will have a higher capacity and a 2 inch receiver. Class II hitches have a 1-1/4 inch receiver. Going with a Class III, 2 inch receiver will afford you more options for accessories.
A popular Class III hitch option for your Escape is # 75758. I have linked a video showing an example installation of this hitch for you. Once installed the area that operates the hands free lift gate will be reduced but it still works.
Customers with 2014 Ford Escapes like yours like the Thule Hitching Post Pro, # TH934XTR the most out of the 4-bike carriers we offer. I have linked a video review for you.
