Location Of Brake Controller Plug On 2005 Ford F-350
Question:
Where is the plug located on a 2005 F350 with a Factory Brake Controller?

The brake controller plug is behind the access panel in the center of the dash on the passenger side. You would just unplug the harness from the old brake controller and connect the new brake controller wiring harness, to the mating connector that was connected to the factory brake controller. After this is done you can route the wiring to the mounting location you want and install the new brake controller.
When you remove your factory brake controller you will get a fault code on the dash that will not go away until you take the truck to the dealer and have the PCM (Power-Train Control Module) flashed.
I recommend a brake controller like part # 90195. The plug-in adapter for your F-350 is part # 3065-P.
