Question:
The Carpod weather resistant bag, what is their definition of weather resistant? Will cargo stay dry inside through big rain storms both when driving and say parked overnight? Thanks

The Cargo Bag for Carpod Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier # M2202 that you referenced would keep the contents of the bag dry under normal rain circumstances. As long as the flap that goes over the zipper is folded down over it the rain would deflect off of the bag and not make it's way inside the bag.
For added security I would recommend putting the cargo in a plastic bag if you know you will be driving in heavy rain.
