Hitch Recommendation for Carrying Bike Rack on 2007 Acura RDX

Question:

Hello. I have a 2007 Acura RDX. Im looking for a 2 inch hitch that will fit my Yakima HoldUp rack. My second question is do I need to drill? Im hoping the Acura is just a bolt on. i.e. self-install Please advise.

To provide an attachment point for your Yakima HoldUp, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 75663. The hitch will not require drilling, as you can see in the installation instructions and install video I've linked. The hitch will attach using included bolts and nuts that are already welded into the frame of your RDX. Before attempting to install the bolts, you'll want to take a spray lubricant like PB Blaster and use a wire brush like # DW00254 to clean the threads out thoroughly. On cars more than a few years old, road grime tends to build up on the threads.
