Should the Factory Power Steering Cooler be Bypassed on a GMC Envoy if it is Leaking
Question:
My vehicle has a cooler for the power steering. I do not tow anything nor will I ever tow anything. Is there any reason I would need to replace the cooler now that it leeks or can I bypass?

You will want to fix the leak or replace the stock power steering cooler on your GMC Envoy since it is factory installed and removing it could result in warranty issues down the road. Plus it will help the power steering pump to last longer.
Using an aftermarket cooler such as # D13213 is a great idea. It is an inexpensive solution and will continue to help maintain the performance of the power steering system on your Envoy.
Technically you could by pass the cooler and not install a different one or OEM replacement but like I was mentioned above that could lead to unforeseen issues in the future.
