What Tire Pressure Should a Trailer Tire Be Inflated To
Question:
I have the Provider ST205/75R15 Trailer Tire w/ 15inch White Mod Wheel on a two-wheel trailer. I carry a Lawn Tractor with a weight of 550 pounds. My question is should I have a certain tire pressure with this weight for proper handling of the trailer? I have the 2015 Phantom 2 Stealth trailer all aluminum with a wood bottom.

Helpful Expert Reply:
With trailer tires you want to have them inflated to their max psi at all times to ensure you get the full weight capacity and optimum tire wear.
The part # TA47VR that you have would need to be inflated to 50 psi at all times. It's best to inflate the tire when cold too.
