Flat towing your vehicle legally and safely requires a number of components as described in the linked help article. These include a tow bar, safety cables, a wiring/lighting solution, a wiring extension, high-low adapter and also base plates and a braking system for the towed vehicle.
Let's start with base plates. These bolt onto the truck frame and accept the tow bar. I recommend the Blue Ox # BX2618 because it has removable arms for a clean appearance. For a tow bar use the Blue Ox Alpha, part # BX7380, which includes the safety cables. For a braking system I suggest the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR which is wireless, simple to install and fully portable. For lighting use Roadmaster diode kit # RM-154. For a wiring extension use # BX88206.
For a high/low adapter you can refer to the linked page that shows all such items. Select the one that allows your connected tow bar to be level or at least within 3-inches of level.
