Fifth Wheel 7-Way Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty
Question:
Can this 90 degree plug be mounted in the rear stake pocket? What is the minimum depth required for this RV/gooseneck plug.

I can't recommend the installation of 7-way trailer wiring in the stake pocket of a truck. Your best bet would be to install it near the wheel well like it is intended for.
Having a 7-way mounted facing up like what you are interested in doing wouldn't be a great idea because even though this connector has a flap on it water would still end up getting trapped in the connector.
