In the case of using a hitch-mounted electric wheelchair carrier this means that the combined weight of the carrier you choose plus the wheelchair itself together cannot be more than 300-lbs. You would have to determine if the powered wheelchair plus a carrier will together exceed the capacity for any of the hitches made for your car.
