Why Would Bulb Out Sensor Code Show on Vehicle with LED Hitch Cover

Question:

Will this work on a 2015 F-150? I had an LED hitch cover on my 2013 F150 and tried it on my 2015, when I connected it to the 4 wire plug and started driving the trailer monitoring computer started freaking out with constant dinging alarms and pop-up alerts on the dash screen. Really like this one, but dont want to order one if they arent compatible with the truck.

Sounds like you got some "bulb out" error messages when you installed the LED hitch cover previously. The reason for this is the slight amperage draw of the cover tells the computer of your truck that there is a problem with the taillights.

The only solution we have would be to use the 7-way connector on your truck and then use the # C35FR plugged into the 7-way and then plug the hitch cover into the 4-way on the other side.
