Skid Plate on Reese 5th Airborne Sidewinder Isn't Level
Question:
I have a Sidewinder Airborne newer style I believe with the airbag adjustment on the top. Instructions say to have the skid plate level, and the inspection notch on the plate side close to the body. I cannot seem to get this level even with 60 psi. I have not tried 0 psi to see aht that would look like, but even so 60 psi is the minimum. thank you for any suggestions...

If the skid plate on the Sidewinder isn't level with 60 psi in the airbag, make sure you're on level ground, and ensure that the height of the fifth wheel head is adjusted properly to the fifth wheel is as level as possible. If the fifth wheel hitch head isn't adjusted correctly, it'd explain why the skid plate isn't level.
