Can Just the Fronts or The Rears of the Torklift StableLoads be Engaged

Question:

Do you have to install both stableloads on each end of each overload spring or can you set one so that it always maintains contact. and then employ the one on the other end when you are carrying an extra heavy load? My plan during installation would be to take significant weight of the leaf spring with a jack lifting under the frame of my 2015 F250. Then, I would install the stableload with all of the wedges and full contact between the spring pack on the front end of the leaf spring. Then lower the jack to fully restore normal unloaded weight on the spring. The front SL would then stay in place permanently. Next I would install the SL on the rears of each spring so that I could rotate them in and out of position. With the front SL always engaged, I am hoping to carry heavier loads in the bed of the truck and still have the ride that is not quite as stiff as having both SLs in place when unloaded. My plan would be to rotate my rear SLs into position when I tow my travel trailer. Will leaving only one SL permanently engaged on each leaf spring give a firmer ride and cause some of the stated benefits without the harshness of both being engaged at the same time? Will leaving only one SL permanently engaged on each leaf spring cause any harm to my truck or springs in any way? Thanks -

I spoke with my contact at TorkLift and he informed me that if you wanted to just engage the front or the rear of the part # TLA7310 you could. He said that what you are planning on doing is perfectly fine and would work well for you.
