Parts Needed to Add a 7-Way Trailer Connector to a 2006 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
Would this wire harness plug into the stock 7pin connector on the Tacomas? I dont see it in the video and I havent red anything about it. All the video states is its a 4pin conector and so Im confused. I could send you pics of the stock 7pin connector for Tacomas for refrence if you would like as well. Thank you for your help.

Trailer wiring harness # 118496 plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring on a 2006 Toyota Tacoma. It does not plug into the same place as the factory 7-Way connector. There isn't an aftermarket option to add a 7-Way connector to a 2006 Toyota Tacoma that just plugs in.
To add an aftermarket 7-Way you would need to first install the 4-Way, # 118496, and then install # ETBC7. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
