Functions of the White, Blue and Black Wires of the Replacement 7-Way H20042
Question:
On this kit, it has three additional wires one white, one blue and one black. the white one is for the ground, but I need to know if the other two need to be connected to anything for the kit to work? the black and blue wires have crimp connectors on the open ends. Please advise

Expert Reply:
The white is ground, the blue is for the brake output circuit for the trailer's brakes and the black is for the auxiliary 12 volt circuit for the trailer. If you have no use for these circuits then they would not have to be connected to anything, you would just need to tie them up and out of the way.
I attached a chart that shows the functions of each of the circuit of the connector.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
