In order to pick out the correct rise/drop ball mount you need to take a couple measurements and do one simple calculation. Basically you want to go with the ball mount that will allow your trailer to be towed level.
To pick out the correct one you will need to measure the distance from the top of your hitch opening to the ground and then with your trailer sitting as level as possible measure from the bottom of the coupler to the ground. The difference between these two measurements will be what rise/drop ball mount you need.
