LED Trailer Lighting and Tongue Jack for Trailstar Trailer

Question:

I have an 18.5 foot Tracker Targa with a Trailstar trailer. I would like to replace the lights on the trailer with LED lights. Also thinking that the jack that is on the trailer is not adequate/working that well for my trailer. really have to lean hard on handle to get boat off ball I would appreciate any suggestion you have. Thanks

LED type lighting is a great way to update your trailer to both increase light output and reduce power demands on your tow vehicle's wiring. LEDs use about 1/10th the power of standard incandescent bulbs and they do not require periodic bulb replacement.

You can use the link provided to see all of our LED trailer lighting items. Simply click on the filters to see specific types, shapes, colors, etc. The Trailstar website shows round amber marker lights on most of its trailers. For example, we offer Optronics Uni-Lite Mini LED Side Marker and Clearance Light # MCL11AKB which is a recessed-mount light with grommet. This light fits an 11/16-inch mounting hole.

We offer all types of trailer jacks, including a-frame jacks and bolt-on swivel jacks like # FXP15 you referenced. I linked you to our main page for jacks and you can again use the filters on the page to narrow down to your preferred type. We offer jacks with caster wheels, foot plates and without either.

It is generally best to use a jack with more capacity than you actually require. This will mean the jack has to work less hard to do the job and it will tend to last longer. Cranking can also be easier with a higher-rated jack.
