How Snug Should Pro Series Adjustable-Channel Coupler Fit Inside Mounting Channel
Question:
I have a trailer with this coupler installed but it does not fig snuggly into the channel. Is it supposed to have some up and down play or is it to be a tight rigid fit?

When you have the Pro Series Adjustable-Channel Coupler, part # PSA256S0303 installed it should not have any play on the channel. This coupler is designed for a 2-7/8 inch channel.
I called my contact at Pro Series and they told me that if needed you can place a washer between the coupler and the inside flange of the channel if needed.
