Recommended Solutions to Carry Bikes on a 2010 Nissan Murano

Question:

It has the crossbars. No we do not have a hitch presently. Do you have a Murano hitch? I am thinking about a hitch also, but want one that fits perfectly and looks like it came on the Murano .

Does your Murano have a hitch or any type of roof rack? If it has a roof rack, is it just the rails that run front to back or does it also have the crossbars that run from passenger to driver side?

Yes, we do have hitches for the 2010 Nissan Murano. I am a big proponent choosing a hitch and hitch-mounted bike rack versus a roof-mounted bike rack. No matter how low the vehicle is, or how light the bike is, putting it up on the roof is more of a pain that putting it on a hitch mounted bike rack. And hitches are much more versatile than a roof rack. You can use bike carriers, large and small, cargo carriers, hitch covers and towing applications. We have pictures of a couple different hitches on a Murano. Draw-Tite, part # 75647, and Curt, part # 13577. Take a look at the pictures on the product page, you can mouse over them for zoomed view. The main body is tucked up under the vehicle so unless you kneel down, you will not see much. We even have a hitch video of the Curt part being installed. Once you have a hitch installed, there are plenty of bike racks that you can use. We have over 50 bike racks for that size hitch that come in all different styles and configurations.
