Purpoose of the Shaft that Sticks Out of the Opposite Side of the Crank Handle of Jack PS1400950376

I notice in all of the pictures this jack has a shaft sticking out of the opposite side of the crank. Is this jack available without that extra shaft?

The shaft that comes out of the other side of the jack on the part # PS1400950376 that you referenced is designed for attaching to a follow leg so that the jack can be used as a landing gear set. It would turn with the crank handle.

The closest jack we offer to this one that does not have that shaft would be a topwind jack like the part # BD182304.
