Troubleshooting Powered Trailer Jack that Doesn't Always Power Up and Down
Question:
Bought an ultra-fab 3502 jack in April of 2015. Have a Chevy 1500 Silver auto and equalizer hitch. Have gone camping twice and has worked fine. This weekend when raising the camper to install equalizer bars hitch just stopped. Checked all connections and fuse and they are good, light is still coming on but jack wont work. I manually lowered the camper and proceeded to my camp trip. When I got to campground, I checked battery connections fuse and all were good. I then loosened the four allen bolts on the bottom side of the jack and hit the switch. It clicked and began working both ways. I tightened everything back up and it appeared to work alright. When I was preparing to leave, I began to raise the jack to took up to truck and it ran very slowly almost like it had half power and then just quit. Will not move in either direction. Light still coming on. Any Clue?

Make sure the main ground wire on your trailer harness is connected to a clean metal surface of your trailer frame. It sounds like your jack has a weak ground and because of that it doesn't want to operate consistently.
By improving the ground of your trailer harness the jack should start to function normally again.
