How To Mount A 7-way Connector To The Rear of a 2012 Nissan Xterra
Question:
I ordered kit# 118266, an ebrake pig tail and an hitch from you all for my Nissan Xterra. Where/how am I to mount the 7 blade connector with the parts supplied on this vehicle. I dont seem to see a clear answer in your videos for this style connector.

The Tow Ready Custom Wiring Harness # 118266 does not come with a mounting bracket to mount the connector at the rear of your vehicle. In order to mount your 7-way connector to your 2012 Nissan Xterra, you will want to use mounting bracket # 18138. This bracket comes with mounting hardware. For an easier installation, you can use a No-Drill Mount Bracket # C57202 which clamps around your hitch cross tube.
These part numbers are the ones used in the installation video of # 118266 on the 2008 Nissan Xterra, which I have attached for you.
This installation video will also show the location to install the fuse relays for the wiring harness.
