Trailer Hitch and Wiring Installation for 2015 Dodge Durango Limited
Question:
I just purchased the 75713 Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch for my 2015 Dodge Durango Limited. Based on the installation video I reviewed, Im quite certain I can attach it myself. Question is... does the vehicle have to be on a lift to install, or can it be on flat surface? Thanks!

A vehicle lift certainly makes installation of a trailer hitch easier but it is still possible to bolt on a hitch without one. Having more height under the vehicle will make it easier for you to maneuver the hitch as well as your arms and tools but plenty of folks install their hitch without benefit of a lift.
A pair of vehicle ramps, which are not terribly expensive and readily available, might be a nice compromise to make your install go a bit better. You can also drive a rear wheel onto a curb to provide some extra height under the truck. In all cases you will want to observe all possible safety considerations to protect yourself and those around you.
I have linked the written instructions, a helpful article and an install video to illustrates the process.
For a wiring harness for your Durango Limited you can use # 118617 from Tow Ready. An article and video for installation of this kit are also linked.
