Tires with a 20.5 Diamater, 8 Inch Section Width, for a 10 Inch Rim on a 1,450 Pound PopUp Camper  

Question:

I need to find tires for a 1990 Coleman Popup camper - specs state tire size is 20.5x8x10 - dry weight of camper is 1450lbs. What do you recommend? Thanks,

The tire you referenced, Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire, # AM1HP52, is going to be the best fit among the tires we offer. I spoke with our resident tire expert and he stated the 8.3 inch section width as opposed to the 8 inch on your existing tires is a negligible difference and it will fit. This tire is designed to fit a 6 inch rim. It has a C load range and 1,100 pound capacity per tire at 50 psi so these tires will be more than enough for your camper as long as it does not exceed 2,200 pounds on a single axle.
