Should Transmission Cooler be Professionally Installed on a 2013 Tacoma V6 4.0 Liter
Question:
Since my Tacoma has a closed transmission, are there any special tips on adding a transmission cooler or should I have the dealer do it?

If the return line from the factory cooler to the transmission is not accessible on your 2013 Toyota Tacoma I do recommend having it professionally installed. Derale cooler # D13503 is the most popular option. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation and a link to our help article on transmission coolers.
