Comparing Swagman RV Platform Bike Carrier # S64663 and XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64670  

Question:

Ive read some conflicting info about these carriers. We have the Swagman RV Bumper Adapter 64025 for the 4inch bumper on the back of our 5th wheel. It looks like the S64663 comes with that adapter. What are the other differences in these 2 hitches, and will both work equally well on the back of our trailer? We would rather get the S64670 if it is recommended for our 5th wheel.

You are correct that Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack # S64663 does include both an RV-rated 2-bike rack as well as a bumper-mount RV hitch receiver that installs on a continuously welded 4- to 4-1/2-inch tall steel RV bumper. Part # S64025 is just the RV hitch itself.

Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64670 does fit both 1-1/4-inch and 2-inch hitches however this rack is NOT rated for use on the back of a trailer.

Swagman offers their Dispatch 2 Bike Platform Rack # S44FR that is rated for use on RVs and that fits a 2-inch hitch. This rack includes locks both for the rack itself and for your loaded bikes. This and other RV-rated platform racks can be seen on the link provided.
