Trailer Wiring Harness Options for a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
Power source
asked by: Merle M
Expert Reply:
On a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe that came with the factory tow package the connectors for a wiring harness get power via the vehicle electrical system powered through the fuse box. But models that did not come with the factory tow package might have the factory connectors at the back but they may not be active.
If your Santa Fe came with the factory tow package then you can use # C56332. For a Sport model without factory tow package use # 118571 and for a GLS or Limited model without factory tow package use # C56184.
The harnesses for models without the factory tow package get power from the vehicle battery.
