Trailer Hitch for Use with a Bike Carrier for a 2015 Audi Q3
Question:
so many newer SUVs have a larger plastic spoiler on the top of the rear hatch. Can they take the weight/pressure of the support strap. I have a a 2015 Audi Q3 and I would like to purchase a hitch but I am worried about the support strap

Expert Reply:
Most spoilers at the tops of SUVs and CUVs are not rated to support any weight or tension. But, Curt is the only manufacturer that would require that strap. Draw-Tite hitch # 75218 does not have that requirement so I would go with it and not worry about the strap on your 2015 Audi Q3.
I have included a link to all of the bike carriers we have that fit 2 inch trailer hitch receivers. The most popular option is the Hitching Post Pro, # TH934XTR. I have included a link to a video review for you.
