Adapter to Tow a 5th Wheel Trailer with a Gooseneck Hitch in a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500
Question:
I have a 2001 dodge ram 3500 with a draw tite 6300 remove a ball , in bed release, need to know if the curt c16210 will work or some other model will work , my kids use the fifth wheel so I can not change it to goose neck. thank you

The Curt X-5 adapter # C16210 only fits certain Curt gooseneck trailer hitches and will not fit a Draw-Tite 6300 series hitch. What I recommend is the Andersen Ranch Hitch, # AM3100. This will allow you to keep the gooseneck hitch in place and you will not have to permanently change anything on the trailer.
The adapter clamps around the gooseneck ball in the truck bed. Then a special adapter block clamps to the 5th wheel trailer king pin so that it can attach to the top ball on the Andersen adapter. I have linked a video review of this adapter for you.
