Trunk Mount Bike Carrier for 2004 Acura TL with Spoiler and 2012 Lexus IS 250

Question:

i need a 2 bunk trunk mount that fits 2012 Lexus IS 250 and 2004 Acura TL with factory spoiler. Will the Thule TH88VR fit both well? Is the a better fitting mount? Thanks

For a trunk mount bike carrier that will hold 2 bikes and fit both your 2004 Acura TL with spoiler and 2012 Lexus IS 250 I recommend the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack # HRF2. Since the TL has the spoiler the only trunk mount carrier that is going to for sure reach over the spoiler on the TL is the HRF2. It was specifically designed for this purpose. If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
