Troubleshooting Trailer Brakes that Lock Up when Trailer Connectior is Connected
Question:
I have lights, but tires dont move in my trailer.If disconnect I have no ligths but tires work Can you help me to found the problem ? Thanks

It sounds as if you have the trailer brake feed circuit attached to the 12-volt power circuit on the vehicle. Check the wiring of the two connectors and move the wire going to the trailer brakes inside the trailer connector to the correct position, see wiring link below for your specific style of connector, and you will then have lights and properly functioning trailer brakes.
A circuit tester, item # PTW2993, will help in determining which connection to make on the trailer side connector to match the vehicle.
