Where do I run the hot wire to the battery on the dual exhaust version of my 2013 Malibu LT?

There is no one certain way the power wire from Curt trailer wiring harness # C56176 has to be run on your 2013 Chevy Malibu LT. Instead there are a few possible options and you can decide what is going to work best for you. I have included a link to a help article I wrote that explains the methods.
Running the wire through the interior of the vehicle might be the best option since the harness sits in the trunk on your Malibu. You cannot use the small battery in the trunk area, if equipped, because it is not rated for the additional power draw.
