Hitch Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2015 Subaru Forester with Factory Hitch
Question:
Hi - we have just bought a 2105 Subaru Forrester and bought the factory hitch. We were told yesterday at Rack Attack that because the pin hole is so close to the opening of the hithch they would not mount any of their racks to it Yakima included - Can you clarify why the Yakima Y02445 would work with this hitch - I have watched the video but it is not clear to me why this one would work. The hitch is already installed and right now leaning towards buying the Subaru rack but thought I would check this out! Thanks!

The factory hitches of the 2015 Subaru Forester do have a very close distance between the pin hole and the hitch opening. The Yakima racks are the only racks available that will fit the new hitch design. The Subaru bike racks are just rebranded Yakima racks so that is how you know they will also fit.
The # Y02445 would fit and work well for your vehicle.
