Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2014 GMC Acadia
Question:
My car does not have an OEM towing package. I have seen some wiring kits that run a wire up to the battery. Is this still necessary with this kit or does it remove the requirement since it is tying into existing tail lights? thanks,

For a trailer wiring kit confirmed to fit your 2014 GMC Acadia you would want the Tow Ready harness part # 118270. It will not require you to run a power wire up to the battery as it comes with fuses and relays to complete the circuits.
