Does Rear Anti-Sway Bar for 2005 Chevy Avalanche Replace the Factory Sway Bar
Question:
Hello, I have a 2005 1500 Avalanche with a factory sway bar. The passenger side axle bracket rusted off the axle and cant be welded on the axle to attach the sway bar. too much deterioration. The driver side axle bracket is intact and attached to the axle. Will this kit install in place of the factory sway bar and will the axle bracket still on the axle cause any installation problems with clearance?? thanks

Roadmaster anti-sway bar # RM-1109-168 does replace the factory sway bar on your 2005 Chevy Avalanche. It will use the factory brackets and clamps. Since your Avalanche has a damaged bracket it will have to be replaced before a new anti-sway bar can be installed.
