How Much Fascia Trimming is Required to Install a Trailer Hitch on a 2015 Audi Q7
Question:
any idea how much trimming of the Fascia is needed for this installation. I just need this for a bike rack. This is a leased vehicle so I dont want to get slammed when I turn the vehicle in.

Since your 2015 Audi Q7 is leased the amount of trimming is not relevant because even a tiny bit will void the contract and end up costing you the price of a new rear fascia panel! There is a panel in the center of the rear bumper fascia that will need a little trimming (it varies from vehicle to vehicle) and the only way to know how much for sure to trim is to have the hitch installed. I have linked the instructions for you.
The best way to avoid having to pay for a new panel is to use a trunk mount bike carrier. For a 2-bike carrier # HRF2 and for a 3-bike carrier use # HRF2-3. Make sure the carrier and the vehicle are clean where they come into contact with each other to avoid scratches. Also a coat of wax in those areas will also help. I have linked a video review of this style carrier for you.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
