Troubleshooting 7 Way to 4 Pole Adapter for 2008 Mercedes-Benz GL450
Question:
I have a Mercedes 2008 GL 450 that came with a Pollok 7 blade arrangement. I bought a Hopkins 7 blade to 4 pole adaptor with led test lights. I plug the adaptor in and nothing is working correctly. Do I need a different adaptor for the mercedes?

You will need part # C35FR. This adapter is recommended with most German vehicles, especially if you are pulling a trailer with LED lights.
This adapter will plug into your factor 7 way on your tow vehicle and allow you to plug in back here either a 4 way or a 5 way connector on a trailer. The adapter has built in load resistors that create more draw.
