Range Hood Vent Recommendation for House on Wheels
Question:
Im interested in purchasing Ventline S0721 Series RV Range Hood w/ Light - 12V Fan - 12x20 - Stainless - and Ventline Exterior Wall Vent for RV Range Hood - Locking Damper - 1-3/4inch Collar - White for my tiny house on wheels. My house is built using 2x4 construction. What advice do you have for connecting my hood and the vent collar? Im wondering if there is some sort of extender I should be looking for to reach through the thickness of my wall. Thank you.

Installing a range hood like the part # S0721-20GC-F-1 wouldn't be hard. It has mounting brackets that would attach it to the kitchen of your trailer right above oven. You can attach it to the bottom of cabinets or a microwave. You would need to use an exterior wall vent like the part # V2111-13 as well. You would not need to have a vent route that goes from the hood all the way to the exterior of the trailer.
You would just need to use the vent cover for the hole you cut so that moisture is kept out of the trailer when the vent is not in use. I attached a picture that shows the vent attached to a cabinet.
For install bolts you may also need the # 31071 and then for sealant part # 0160297.
